The odds are stacked very high

Millennials have done the math when it comes to winning the lottery, and they know the odds aren't in their favor. In 2016, 61 percent of people between the ages of 50 and 64 played the lottery. In contrast, only a third of people between the ages of 18 and 29 tried to get rich quick.

It's always fun to dream, but millennials are betting that the lottery won't pay off their massive student loan debt.

Napkins are becoming extinct

When eating at home, there's a four in ten chance you'll use a napkin. Fifteen years ago, that proportion was six in ten. The decline is due to millennials, who are more likely to use a paper towel instead of a napkin.
